When and where did you start skiing and who brought you to it?

For the first time I tried cross-country skiing as a kid with my parents. But I started to do it professionally at university thanks to Sport Club Plzeň. They took me among themselves and I immediately started to love it.

What is your biggest success in your career?

5th place at the World Cup in Kuusam (10 km C), 6th place at Tour de Ski (10 km skate) and 10th place in Overall Standings at Tour de Ski, 7th place at the WC in Davos (10 km skate), 8th and 10th place at WC in Nové Město na Moravě (10 km C + 10 km skate).

Who is your Czech and foreign ski idol?

I have no ski idols.

What other sports do you like to do?

Until the age of 18 I professionally competed in track and field events – middle and long tracks, uphill runs. I won Junior Czech Championships several times. The best result is 8th place in uphill run at Junior Czech Championship.

What is your most favourite skiing event?

Currently I would say my performance got balance in both skiing techniques so I like all distance competitions.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I love cooking and baking. I can spend in the kitchen most of my free time if I find eaters J I love baking bread, cakes, cooking of anything possible and impossible, reading cookbooks, studying new cooking procedures. In short just anything around kitchen is my biggest passion.

I could also name some other kinds of sport and team games, mushrooming, gardening and the like.

What would you like to achieve in your career?

Ranking in top 3 in WC.
