When and where did you start skiing and who brought you to it?

I started to ski on slopes at the age of 4 and of course my parents brought me there, I wouldn’t choose such a labour as a kid. When I was 11 years old, I started to do cross-country skiing in Jilemnice.

What is your biggest success in your career?

9th spot in sprint skate and 5th spot in team sprint at the World Cup Dresden.

Who is your Czech and foreign ski idol?

Lukáš Bauer, Marit Bjorgena Kilian Jornet (skialpinism).

What other sports do you like to do?

Sometimes I run the 1st league in athletics.

What is your most favourite skiing event?

Sprints – skate and classic, prologue, team sprint. The only think I don’t really like is skiathlon and 30 km.

How do you like to spend your free time?

Chess and good coffee, reading books. I love travelling, swimming in the sea, mainly in the North Sea. Sometimes I turn on Playstation 4 or I play some adventurous games.

What would you like to achieve in your career?

To get my body beyond my limit. Now there’s a lot of space for improving so we’ll see how I can rock.
